Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Lead Engineer – Switches & WPC.
You will be part of their Switches & WPC team, which has an exciting future ahead as the Switches & WPC develop at a fast pace with changing design and technology. The Switches & WPC team belongs to Interior Room, where they develop the Displays, WPC, Switches, IP, Tunnel, and door panels.
The Switches & WPC team is now looking for a Lead Engineer for their development project. The team consists of members with competence in lead engineering, testing, software, and hardware, with a clear ambition to work cross-functionally. They need talented people on board—people with passion, energy, and the drive to deliver good products for their customers. Main Responsibilities:
- Work as a Lead Engineer for their development teams, closely collaborating with suppliers.
- Lead and align the cross-functional engineering effort to meet time, technical, and cost targets for Switches & WPC.
- Manage many interfaces, both external and internal, in this demanding but rewarding position.
- Play a crucial role in building the new team-oriented culture, contributing to other competence areas within the team, such as testing, software, and hardware, based on your background and interests.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Engineering Manager, and other team members.
Qualifications:
- A degree of M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Science, or equivalent technical training.
- Documented project leader skills.
- More than 5 years of experience working within the automotive industry.
- Experience in hardware (HW) development is meritorious.
- Experience in software (SW) development is meritorious.
- Holds a valid Driving License: B.
