Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a System Developer – Exterior Lighting Function to strengthen their teams within Exterior Lighting Functions. The team is tasked with delivering best-in-class customer functions for their upcoming vehicles.

The Exterior Lighting Functions Group, within the Vehicle Tophat Solution and Exterior Systems ART, is responsible for developing and designing exterior lighting functions, systems, and software to provide the best user experience in future vehicles. As part of this team, you will help develop and design systems that deliver the desired customer functions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop a system that fulfills the agreed cross-functional solution.
• Ensure that solutions comply with all agreed requirements.
• Break down and distribute functional requirements to the execution environment.
• Oversee functional and non-functional realization in Car Weaver (System Weaver) in collaboration with the team and relevant stakeholders.
• Focus on development using MATLAB/Simulink and C++.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering or strong electrical system knowledge from software testing.
• Previous experience in software development is advantageous.
• Desired skills that would enhance your contribution to the team include:
  • C++ programming
  • Simulation and Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink
  • System Weaver, Elektra
  • Vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet)
  • Knowledge of automotive standards such as Functional Safety ISO 26262 and Cybersecurity ISO 21434.
• Fluency in English.
• A valid B driving license is appreciated.
