Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Responsible – Displays. You will be part of our client’s Display team, which has an exciting future ahead as display technologies evolve rapidly with changing designs. The Display team is part of the Interior Room division, where they develop displays, switches, instrument panels, tunnel consoles, and door panels. The team is now looking for a Software Responsible for their development project. The team consists of members with expertise in lead engineering, testing, software, and hardware, all with a clear ambition to work cross-functionally. They are seeking talented individuals with passion, energy, and the drive to deliver excellent products for their customers. Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Software Responsible within the development teams.
  • Lead the software development performed by their suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with your team, including project leaders and software testers.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure adherence to timelines and specifications, particularly when sourcing new suppliers.
  • Manage multiple interfaces, both external and internal, making this a demanding but rewarding position.
  • Cooperate extensively with various internal teams, including Basetech, System Safety, Cybersecurity, and core computing teams.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in M.Sc or B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training.
  • Documented project leadership skills.
  • Over 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience in hardware development is a plus.
  • Experience in software requirement management.
  • Experience in software testing and quality assurance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like System/Car Weaver, System Safety, and Cybersecurity.
  • Valid B driving license.
