Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an experienced Senior C++ Developer. This position is within Common Base Technologies, located at the heart of our client’s software development team. The Start team responsible for Movement Enabler is looking for a skilled C++ developer with additional MATLAB Simulink expertise.

You will be involved in all stages of the development process, from requirement definition through to validation and verification, collaborating closely with a team of System Designers, Software Developers, and Software Test Engineers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Engage in all stages of software development, from requirement analysis to validation and verification.
• Work closely with System Designers, Software Developers, and Software Test Engineers.
• Implement efficient memory management, buffering, parallel processing, inter-process communication, and time series data processing & management.
• Utilize GIT, Gerrit, and JIRA effectively for version control and project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent documented experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in C++ development on Linux/QNX.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MATLAB Simulink model-based software development.
• Proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing efficient memory management, buffering, parallel processing, inter-process communication, and time series data processing & management.
• Well-versed in GIT and Gerrit.
• Familiar with JIRA.
• Basic knowledge in software verification across multiple test setups.
• Experience working in a SAFe/Agile team and environment.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Additional Merits:

• Knowledge and experience with CAPL and Python scripting.
• Experience working with CANoe and CANalyzer.
• Previous experience in the Automotive or Telecom industries.
• Swedish driving license B or equivalent.
