Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a System Engineer – Driver Information.

Their commitment to people is central to their mission, emphasizing a human-centric approach that distinguishes them in the automotive world.

The role is part of the Driver & Vehicle Information department, a key segment of the Connected Experience Unit within the client’s engineering division. Together, they focus on delivering innovative infotainment systems, utilizing Android and Google Automotive Services, while continuously advancing to stay at the forefront of the industry.

As a System Engineer specializing in Driver Information and the instrument cluster, you will be part of a dedicated development team. The team’s responsibility includes delivering the complete software package for the instrument cluster, covering all functionality aspects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Designing and specifying software requirements for in-house development teams.
• Developing interfaces and defining signals within the Driver Information System to ensure smooth integration with current and future vehicle models.
• Collaborating closely with your team to create a harmonized system design.
• Working on system design with a focus on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and maintaining close collaboration with suppliers.
• Considering testing methods during the requirements definition phase to ensure testability and that the product meets quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in system design within the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with requirements related to ADAS technology and its integration into automotive systems.
• Knowledge of testing methods and quality assurance, particularly around testability.
• Valid European driver’s license B.

Additional  Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CarWeaver, distributed electrical systems, and electrical architecture.
• Experience with functional safety standards, such as ISO 26262.
• Interest in ADAS technology.
• Testing knowledge and experience.
