Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is looking for a Software Developer to join their Switches & WPC (Wireless Power Charging) team. The team is growing rapidly, with evolving design and technology at the forefront of their projects.
The Switches & WPC team is part of the Interior Room department, responsible for the development of components such as displays, switches, WPC, instrument panels (IP), tunnel consoles, and door panels. This cross-functional team comprises experts in lead engineering, testing, software, and hardware, and they are seeking a talented software developer to join their ongoing development project.
Main Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the team to:
- Understand requirements and system architecture to design and develop in-house software.
- Collaborate with other system teams managing both supplier software and in-house development.
- Ensure that all software meets specific requirements and aligns with the overall strategies and objectives of the client.
The focus areas include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining in-house software.
- Solving real-time, resource-constrained problems.
- Collaborating with the CI (Continuous Integration) team to automate deliveries.
- Ensuring traceability from requirements down to the code.
- Creating comprehensive technical documentation.
- Testing and debugging in-house software to ensure reliability and performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in embedded software development, particularly in C++.
- Proficiency in automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and FlexRay.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and experience in developing safety-critical software.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Gerrit).
- Familiarity with operating systems like Linux and QNX.
- Experience in Agile frameworks.
- Knowledge of build environment tools like Jenkins, Zuul, or similar.
Additional Competencies:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training (M.Sc or B.Sc).
- Familiarity with Python and YAML.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts and automotive software development tools.
- Experience using CANoe VECTOR tools.
