Project and role description

You will be part of a Product Team who are responsible for providing a set of digital collaboration tools used by over 15 000 colleagues in a global organization. We are on a cloud transformation journey to improve and modernizing their collaboration, information creation and sharing by implementing and driving adoption of M365 tools and specifically building SharePoint sites for different communication needs.
You will design and build a good search experience for SharePoint Online content together with developers in our Intranet team to fulfill a business need to improve an consolidate information search.
Including work to analyze, design and develop a scalable solution to be used to further index relevant SharePoint Online content to Intranet search.

Requirements:
• You have several years of experience working with SharePoint and OneDrive in a global organization.
• You are senior expert and developer for SharePoint Online and have an in-depth technical experience of the different features, possibilities and boundaries within SharePoint, for it to be used to its full potential.
• You are used to both designs, develop and implement solutions with SharePoint Online according to Microsoft best practices in global organizations.
• You have deep knowledge in SharePoint Online and M365 search and know how to build integrations using App registrations including utilizing suitable APIs to gather and consolidate data.
• Together with Intranet developers you will investigate, design and build a solution where SharePoint consolidated data will be captured and further indexed to Intranet search.
• You appreciate an open and transparent environment where everyone’s opinion matters, and you enjoy cross team collaboration and value creation
