Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is developing a new electrical architecture of hardware (HW) and software (SW) for next-generation vehicles and cutting-edge technology. They are seeking a Software Architect for the Core System Platform, a central part of this new architecture.
Within the Software and Electronics Platform (SWEP), a key component of the architecture is the Core System Platform, which serves as the foundation for realizing a major portion of the vehicle’s customer functions.
Team Responsibilities:
Agile Release Train High Integrity Nodes (ARTHIN) is a critical part of the Core System Platform. It offers a safety-critical platform for deploying functions and is based on the Autosar Classic platform using Infineon Aurix TriCore processors. The High Integrity (HI) teams are responsible for:
- Creating and deploying the platform for high-Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) components (up to ASIL-D) and safety-critical processes.
- Dividing responsibilities between platform development and integration-focused groups.
- Managing architecture, safety, cybersecurity, DevOps, development and configuration, and application integration.
- Reusing platform software across three system-on-chips within the Core System: HI-A, HI-B, and HI-C.
- Ensuring platform reuse across multiple generations of the Core System.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze incoming requirements.
- Plan for the impact on software and tools.
- Control the implementation designs across various development teams.
- Address complex quality issues that require high attention.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with team members and other departments in our client’s organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in embedded software development.
- Strong understanding of Autosar Basic Software configuration and tools.
- Solid knowledge of application development on an Autosar platform.
- A clear understanding of quality-managed software practices.
- Excellent C programming skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of fault tracing, application development, basic software configuration, and toolchains for Embedded SW development.
- Proficiency with Lauterbach/Trace32.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working successfully in an agile or lean environment.
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, bash, make).
