Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Scrum Master.

At Core System Components (ARTCSC), within the Software & Electronics Platform, they develop body controllers, I/O controllers, electrical power distribution units, and electrical power supply – both hardware and software – for all current and future vehicle platforms. They work on solutions from early concept through industrialization and follow-up in the field.

They are dedicated to building cross-functional and empowered teams in an agile environment where they learn every day, challenge each other, and provide continuous feedback. They are now looking for a manifesto-minded Scrum Master to lead two development teams on their exciting agile journey!

Team Responsibilities:

The teams you will lead are responsible for developing and delivering two complete I/O controller ECUs. These units are a central part of the new SPA2 and SPA3 software & electronic platform, realizing important software functionality at both system service and customer function levels. The teams are focused on:

  • Developing software to integrate supplier-developed hardware and basic software with in-house developed application software
  • Verifying and delivering the complete ECU for manufacturing

Main Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on flow and continuous improvement, leading and supporting the teams in their development efforts. Key tasks include:

  • Helping teams deliver on their commitments and grow as empowered agile teams
  • Removing impediments and ensuring a productive work environment
  • Maintaining dialogue with relevant stakeholders regarding the teams’ status and needs
  • Protecting the teams from external disturbances and unplanned work
  • Ensuring the teams’ work situation remains manageable, motivating, and fun

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English
  • A minimum of a B.Sc. or equivalent in a technical field relevant to the teams’ work tasks (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics)
  • Previous leadership roles and experience as a Scrum Master
  • Experience in automotive software design and development, system engineering, and embedded software testing

Additional Qualifications:

  • Are an avid VIRA user
  • Have experience with Data Driven Transparency and its implementation
