Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an experienced engineer with competence in robust and safe system design to set the foundations of the AD/ADAS platform. The system design will be the basis upon which the AD/ADAS functions are built.

Main Responsibilities:

• Contribute system engineering expertise in a cross-functional team.
• Secure the complete AD/ADAS domain functionality.
• Drive AD/ADAS needs toward the rest of the vehicle (e.g., steering, braking, HMI).
• Balance and design a scalable system over time.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners.
• Dive into areas such as fault/mode handling, SW allocation, diagnostics, requirement handling, robust interface design, System Safety (ISO26262), and configuration.

Qualifications:

• Competence in robust and safe system design for AD/ADAS platforms.
• Strong understanding of how various AD/ADAS functions work and their needs.
• Previous experience in coding, with a desire to take the next step in your career.
• Ability to collaborate with other teams and partners.
• Confidence in addressing areas such as fault handling, SW allocation, diagnostics, System Safety (ISO26262), and robust interface design.
