Assignment Description 

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a self-driven Software Engineer or former Scrum Master (SCM) to take on the role of Team SW Release Responsibility for the Suspension & TPMS Software Factory teams (SWF).

Suspension Software Factory Teams

The role involves working with in-house software development for active chassis functions. The Suspension Software Factory teams consist of cross-functional, high-performance teams focused on:

• CI (Continuous Integration) and infrastructure support for SUM & TPMS teams
• Full software stack development
• Development of control algorithms for chassis functions
• Development of tool chains needed to support the best active chassis functions for their vehicles

Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Serving as the team release representative, facilitating team progress toward PI/Sprint goals
• Improving team performance and development, enhancing overall team effectiveness
• Enhancing quality, predictability, and flow in software releases and team processes
• Optimizing processes to ensure smooth team operation and efficient workflows
• Focusing on team deliveries and SW releases to meet deadlines and objectives
• Supporting problem-solving, removing impediments, and promoting continuous team improvement
• Ensuring daily deliveries (including testing and fault reports) are aligned with PO prioritization
• Facilitating teams and POs in Scrum, including conducting ceremonies such as quarterly planning meetings
• Collaborating closely with the Suspension Module (SUM) release manager, Product Owners (PO), SW developers, test engineers, system engineers, and safety engineers
• Driving cross-functional tasks based on team and project needs

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in SW development as a SCM, SW developer, or SW tester
• Experience in SW delivery flow, Continuous Integration, and SW Releases
• Experience in backlog handling and VIRA (JIRA)
• Knowledge of the development process in car projects (e.g., VPDS, planning)
• Experience working with Agile software development methods
• Experience in SW development and/or testing.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in function or embedded SW development within the automotive industry
• Experience working with ASIL-classified products or ISO 26262
