Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Test Developer. As a developer with a focus on analysis and verification, you will work in an agile, cross-functional team. Your role will leverage your test expertise to actively coach your team members in all matters related to quality from a test perspective. As a team player in an agile, cross-functional team, you will do whatever is necessary to achieve the team’s goals. This includes learning and gaining insights from other disciplines within the team.

Together with the team, you will develop and execute highly effective test solutions and test cases to enable fast and robust software development, providing excellent customer functions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coach your agile team on test-related activities during design and development
• Design, implement, and run test methods in an automated test environment
• Develop features in the test automation framework for increased automated testing
• Report test results and provide recommendations to stakeholders
• Analyze defects and issues
• Ensuring testability during architecture design or function development
• Writing and guiding the team in creating test cases
• Automating tests for regression testing

Required Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in quality assurance of complex embedded systems
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Valid driver’s license (Category B)

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in automotive and Body/Comfort systems development
• Experience with CANoe, Jenkins, or similar test frameworks
• Experience with systems such as Elektra, CarCom, or System/Car Weaver
• Experience in test automation, programming, or model-based development/testing
