Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Engineer with extensive experience in product development, specifically within the automotive sector. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the software architecture, as well as developing and delivering high-quality software to be integrated into vehicles.
Function & Control Team Overview
The Function & Control team at our client’s site is responsible for developing all seat-related functions in the vehicle. This team:
- Designs, develops, and delivers software for control modules.
- Works on both in-house projects and with suppliers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the software architecture of the product.
- Develop and deliver quality-assured software for vehicle integration.
- Ensure that all software meets quality standards and is delivered on time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with vehicle systems.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of software development experience, particularly in C++ or C.
- Experience with QNX is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with Embedded Linux Development is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Automatic Testing.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards for software development.
- Proficiency in Google Test or similar testing frameworks.
- Experience with Git and Gerrit, or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with Matlab Simulink is beneficial.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken).
