Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an AD/ADAS Function Design Engineer.

Main Responsibilities:

In the AD and ADAS Functions department, you will:

• Design and verify the complete vehicle solution for autonomous cars and active safety functions.
• Work with a team of committed and experienced individuals in the Human-Centric AD/ADAS group.
• Collaborate in an open and safe environment to create meaningful innovations.
• Drive development in line with strategic goals, defining functional requirements and using data for insights to enhance the customer experience.
• Apply your experience and competence to define robust function designs while contributing innovative ideas.
• Define test methods and perform function testing, tuning, and analysis using various test environments (vehicles, HIL, SIL).
• Work closely with software suppliers and interfacing teams to ensure a human-centric AD/ADAS experience.
• Take ownership of features like:
  • Road Sign Information
  • Driver Alert
  • Connected Safety

Qualifications:

• Experience in function/system design and/or test and verification, preferably from the AD/ADAS domain.
• Eagerness to use data-driven insights to inform development.
