Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive sector, is on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing an automated process to build and test software through model-based design, alongside C/C++code. The client relies on Zuul from OpenStack, integrated with Git and Gerrit, to build the core of their CI/CD toolchain. Your work will ensure that all necessary steps for generating and delivering a binary file, ready to be deployed to vehicles, are fully automated.
You’ll join a dynamic team that is transforming the client’s Software Factory, building and improving their CI/CD system that serves thousands of embedded software developers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain automation processes to guarantee software quality.
- Manage and update existing tools and scripts to adapt to evolving software requirements.
- Research, evaluate, and develop new tools to better support the development team.
Required Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration systems.
- A solid understanding of software development workflows and processes.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Zuul and working in embedded systems software development.
- Proficiency with Git/Gerrit version control systems.
- Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Docker, and MATLAB.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Experience with model-based systems, specifically Simulink/TargetLink.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure.
- Experience working with issue tracking systems.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
