Assignment Description

On behalf of our client we are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer with application operations and maintenance expertise focused on Microsoft Azure cloud data platform.

The department that you will be working in develops and operates specialized IT solutions closely together with business colleagues to create value for our clients customers.

Role Description:

• Handle data platform monitoring, quality, and error handling end to end.
• As part of the team, you will take part in some development work on a need basis (requirement analysis, design, development, test, deployment, hand over).
• You will work closely with our clients business partners, system manager and help them to get better insights on the platform health and stability.

Requirements:

• You should be experience in Microsoft Azure
• You should be familiar with Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL database and Azure Synapse data warehouse solutions.
• You should have the ability to monitor data processing using integration and orchestration tools as Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• You should have experience in handling support tickets and reporting.
• You should be able to design and develop data solutions completely.
• You should have at least a bachelor’s degree within Computer Science or comparable field and you have at least 4 years’ experience in software development
• You should have experience in handling large cloud data platform maintenance.
• You should be familiar with Azure Monitor or Log Analytics for real-time monitoring and troubleshooting of data pipelines, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• You should have experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using Azure DevOps, especially for automating data pipeline deployments.
• You should have experience in data modeling and programming using spark SQL and TSQL
• You should be able to develop and maintain Power BI reporting and self-service solution.
• You are self-motivated and self-going
• English is a must and Swedish is beneficial.

You will need to work at our clients office in Stockholm a minimum of 2 days per week.
