Assignment description

We are looking for a driven service-minded and customer focused Technical Product Support Engineer (Third Line) – specialized in PC Software. You will be part of the advanced robot product support team who are responsible for resolving various technical issues reported by our customers, and you will work with our internal global service function with international customers. As your responsibilities contain different issues and customers, both within Sweden and abroad, your work tasks will be varied.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role you need to be a driven supportive team member with great communication skills who always has the customer in focus when it comes to solving the support cases. You will be responsible for advanced technical support cases, therefore project management skills are beneficial in this role. You are specialized in PC Software and we require you to hold a university degree within computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.

You need to have 2+ years of work experience from any of the following: robotics, RobotStudio, Rapid, .NET or Process Simulate are beneficial. Combined with experience from a service-oriented profession, you might be the one we are looking for. To suit the service-oriented role you need to be quality conscious, analytical and solution focused. In addition to this you need to be fluent in both written and spoken English and have a university degree within engineering/software engineering or similar subject.

It it meritorious if you also have:

• Prior knowledge and experience of providing 3rd line product/technical support (working with case tracking systems, escalations, response times, team work etc.)
• A basic understanding of networking with an ability to provide troubleshooting assistance
• Programming skills, especially an understanding of REST APIs
• General understanding of infrastructure and communication behind IoT-platforms / Web based solutions
• Project Management skills
• Prior knowledge/experience of robotics
