The Role:

As a mechanical design engineer, you contribute to constantly improve our product portfolio of bolting solutions, tools core technology and mechanical development process.

You are part of research and technology innovation initiatives within the line organization and in the product projects, ensuring that the client continue to be market leader. The solutions we develop are used to improve efficiency, quality, safety, speed, ergonomics and environmental performance.

You will collaborate closely within the organization to solve cross disciplinary problems, keep developing our innovative core technology and ensure we make great products for our customer.

Responsibilities:

• Design of components and mechanisms (from concept to release to production)
• Present and hold 3D model meetings with technical solutions
• Perform structural analysis (hand calculation and FEA) calculations
• Produce technical documentation for both internal and external use
• Investigate new solutions to improve sustainability, performance or reliability
• Interface with engineering, marketing, sourcing, manufacturing and testing teams
• Assist in design validation testing (endurance, performance, drop)
