Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer. As a senior backend engineer, you will help our client build and maintain the infrastructure responsible for driving users to sign up for the paid product in collaboration with other R&D teams, Marketing and Growth.

The team is uniquely positioned to play a key role in a new effort to strengthen our clients platform capabilities in this area to support the rapidly growing business needs of the product portfolio. They want to move towards a more user focused, contextual conversion experience that is less manually operated, and more consistent across channels.

Role Description:

• You share our clients common curiosity about scalable distributed systems and continuous development.
• Collaborate with other engineers and product managers to identify and solve challenging problems, to successfully scale our clients automation and platformization work to enable a more user-focussed conversion experience.
• Collaborate with our clients team and key internal partners to determine how to design scalable backend systems, data models and APIs that run on Google Cloud Platform.
• Architect, develop and operate Java services that serve our users through our content platform which enables marketing operators and other internal squads to work efficiently.
• Be a technical leader, mentor and valued contributor in an autonomous, cross-functional agile squad, in close collaboration with other squads.
