Assignment Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Data Engineer to join a dynamic Data & Analytics team for an on-site position. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, results-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a knack for effective communication.

As a key contributor to the delivery of robust data products, you will collaborate with an agile team to design and maintain data integrations on a Informatica-based platform. Working closely with key stakeholders—such as Scrum Masters, Product Owners, BI Architects, Data Analysts, and business leaders—you will play a pivotal role in achieving data delivery goals.

Your responsibilities will include developing and enhancing the Enterprise Data Warehouse platform (iData) using Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle database. You will design secure and efficient workflows for data staging, cleansing, and loading. By gathering and translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications, you will ensure data solutions align with stakeholder needs. Additionally, you will populate operational data stores (ODS) and data marts with reliable, high-quality data to support business intelligence initiatives. To maintain operational excellence, you will troubleshoot and optimize existing data solutions, resolve process defects, and implement data quality checks to ensure the integrity and reliability of the data ecosystem.

Required Qualifications:

• Practical experience with a variety of database systems and file formats, including CSV, XML, and JSON.
• Proven success in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.
• A strong analytical mindset for evaluating data within a business context and deriving actionable insights.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced skills in creating and managing complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data warehousing principles and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, address, and resolve data quality issues effectively.
• At least five years of experience using Informatica PowerCenter within Data Warehouse or Data Mart environments.

It is meritorious if you have experience in the banking domain, as this is highly valued. Additionally, familiarity with scripting languages such as shell scripting or Python is considered an advantage.
