Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Developer to support and maintain the extraction layer between the data warehouse and end-user systems. This role is part of the AML & Fraud squad, focused on delivering and managing solutions for risk scoring, transaction monitoring, PEP & sanctions screening, among other responsibilities. The role involves working with Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle databases to provide high-quality data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, thrive in dynamic and challenging environments, and possess the ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive, innovative approach and a collaborative mindset are essential.

You will be responsible for defining advanced SQL queries to extract data and configuring mappings to integrate source system data with AML solutions. This includes collaborating with agile team members to deliver services based on prioritized backlogs and planning deployments across different environment tracks. Additionally, the role involves providing production support through data analysis, knowledge sharing, and resolving reported defects. The developer will also perform data cleansing activities, contribute to data migration projects, and establish routines to ensure data quality. Daily tasks include monitoring and running data loads, creating and updating technical documentation, and supporting testing teams by providing test data and analyzing results. Close collaboration with testers and stakeholders will be necessary to supply required data and insights.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Expertise in SQL and Informatica PowerCenter.
• Proficiency with Oracle databases.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Developer.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve data quality issues.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data within a business context.
• Experience in the banking or financial sector is highly desirable.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of file and data handling scripts using shell or Python.
