Assignment Description
We are looking for an AML data and test analyst to manage and enhance the extract layer that bridges the data warehouse and end-user systems. As part of the AML & Fraud team, you will work on maintaining and supporting solutions related to risk scoring, transaction monitoring, and PEP & sanctions screening. The solutions are built on Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle databases.

The role involves defining advanced SQL queries to analyze data from systems that manage customer, account, and transaction information, where you will play a key role in conducting tests and ensuring the accuracy and quality of processes. Your responsibilities will span a range of tasks, including investigating and specifying development activities, conducting data analysis, mapping, extraction, and quality testing, as well as overseeing database loading, developing reports, and coordinating work activities such as documentation, release planning, and deployment based on the backlog assigned by the Scrum Master. You will also collaborate with business analysts and Informatica developers to execute and compose test scripts, provide guidance on development requirements, and address reported defects, while monitoring and analyzing daily data loads, updating system documentation, creating knowledge articles, and supporting efforts to improve data quality routines. In addition, collaboration with other agile team members will be essential to deliver prioritized services from the ART backlog, and you may also manage ad hoc business queries and tasks as instructed by the Scrum Master, ensuring alignment with established development and testing guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Analytical skills and ability to interpret data in a business context
- Capability to analyze and address data quality issues
- Expertise in SQL
- Proficiency in Oracle databases
- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts
- Ability to work effectively in both on-site and remote team environments
- Prior experience in the banking domain is highly desirable
It is advantageous if you have experience with file and data handling scripts using shell or Python.
