Assignment Description

We are currently seeking a IT Project Manager is required to oversee and drive the implementation and improvement of Manufacturing and MES systems. This position involves working onsite at production facilities in Karviná and Havířov, with flexibility for remote work one to two days per week, depending on project needs. We are looking for a collaborative and proactive approach to team alignment and project execution.

The position requires establishing a collaborative and effective project team by fostering strong partnerships between internal departments and external IT providers. A significant focus will be placed on ensuring the timely delivery of projects by proactively identifying risks, resolving potential issues, and maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders. Managing the implementation and enhancement of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a key responsibility, as is adapting to and integrating diverse project management methodologies, including hybrid approaches that blend Agile and Waterfall. The role also involves driving projects in DevOps and Agile environments while aligning them with the broader organizational goals.

Required Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Czech.
• Proficiency in DevOps and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience managing hybrid approaches.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT project management, specifically focused on software implementation and upgrades.

It is meritorious to have a certification in PMP or Agile practices.
