Assignment Description

We are currently seeking a Visual Designer – Design System to maintain the Design Language System (DLS) and its documentation. This role involves creating and delivering assets such as icons, illustrations, and components in a timely manner, providing expertise, direction, and feedback, and ensuring quality and consistency across all deliverables. You will also interpret and follow the style guide and apply design thinking principles, including empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, testing, implementing, iterating, and refining. This position requires working on-site in Lund 2-3 days per week. We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, a team player, solution-oriented, proactive, service-minded, and a quick learner.

Qualifications:

• Strong visual design skills
• UX understanding, including user flows, user needs, culture, and intent
• Foundational knowledge of software design
• Experience working with and developing Design Systems
• Experience handling vector graphics
• Understanding of design processes and pipelines
• Technical knowledge and appreciation for functional and technical aspects of design
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma, GitHub, Visual Studio Code (or similar tools), SharePoint, Jira, Slack, Teams, and Miro

It’s a plus if you have frontend coding experience, enabling seamless collaboration with frontend developers, preparing assets for delivery and implementation, and troubleshooting bugs. Additionally, understanding usability testing, enterprise design, and possessing usability testing skills are highly desirable.
