Assignment description

This person will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of an account, including planning, execution, monitoring, budgeting, and reporting for what has already been contractually agreed in the commercial contract. They will be the main point of contact for customer execution and will work closely with other project stakeholders to ensure that all account projects are completed on time and within budget.

To succeed in this role it is important that you have prior experience from Saas and that you can handle the complexity and lack of structure that a fast paced IT company brings.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Be the main point of contact for clients for projects contractually agreed in the commercial contract
  • Take ownership of projects contractually agreed in the commercial contract and be accountable for their success
  • Proactively take initiative and demonstrate a high level of responsibility in fulfilling the role
  • Collaborate with the account team to create and align on the account execution plan, priorities, and goals for both Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) and (GTaaS) projects
  • Responsible for ensuring the implementation and tracking of customer requirements for the project, including timelines, volumes, and annotation approach
  • Understand and implement learnings from previous projects, leveraging both successes and mistakes
  • Ensure the account team has a clear understanding of how well our product supports the project scope
  • Identify client’s new product requests in current projects and communicate it to KAEs
  • Build strong and long lasting relationship with clients by understanding project needs, goals and challenges
  • Be the voice of the client in the account team

Communication and Reporting:

  • Maintain clear, timely and efficient communication both internally and externally
  • Facilitate effective collaboration and ensure all account team members are well-informed
  • Create a collaborative atmosphere where AT members enjoy working together and feel empowered to manage their work even in demanding customer situations
  • Establish and schedule required recurring project meetings, both internal and external
  • Ensure efficient and effective communication channels and meetings
  • Facilitate discussions in internal and external meetings
  • Escalate internal and external delivery problems to the KAEs when necessary
  • Escalate client-related problems to Client Managers when there is a risk of not reaching milestones and deadlines

Team Leadership:

  • Provide guidance and support to the AT, resolving conflicts, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive account team work culture
  • Help team members overcome hurdles that arise during projects
  • Coach account team members to make them comfortable with decision-making and taking ownership
  • Support sales by providing necessary information for creating invoices, annotation orders, and purchase orders

Problem Solving and Decision Making:

  • Analyze situations, identify potential issues or risks, and make informed decisions to overcome challenges and achieve project goals
  • Be assertive and make decisions when necessary to ensure team progress and avoid situations where no decision is made at all

Processes:

  • Standardize Best Practices: Implement consistent best practices across all accounts by fostering adherence within the account team
  • Optimize Project Management: Develop an efficient project management process specifically tailored for the CPM and DPM areas
  • Monitor Project Outcomes: Track and address project successes and challenges to ensure comprehensive follow-through

Competence profile:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in project management or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on customer-facing automotive projects
  • Experience working in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the customer’s satisfaction
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
