Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer. In this role you will be part of a forward-thinking team that values innovative solutions and a positive work environment. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
• Create and maintain pipelines in Databricks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement robust security measures and data protection mechanisms.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and innovations in web development.

Requirements:

Technical skills

• Pyspark: Good knowledge in developing pipelines in pyspark
• Python: Profound knowledge of Python programming language.
• Django: Experience with the Django web framework.
• DevOps: Practical experience in DevOps practices and tools to automate software development and deployment processes.

Merited Skills

• AWS: Experience with AWS services is highly desirable.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with infrastructure as code solutions, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Databricks: Experience in building and maintaining bigdata pipelines

For this role you are able to work remote, but you will need to work from the clients office in Jönköping 2 days per month.
