We are seeking a Vulnerability Scanning/Testing Consultant with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for success in this role.
As a Vulnerability Scanning/Testing Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring robust security practices across digital products. Your responsibilities include developing and documenting effective scanning and testing approaches that meet established requirements while identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities across various product categories. You will research and recommend appropriate tools and services, defining the resources needed for efficient vulnerability scanning and testing. Leading the acquisition and onboarding of these tools, you will ensure seamless integration with existing systems and workflows.
In this role, you will also create clear and actionable guidelines tailored to different product types, such as hardware, software, and firmware, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. To support the organization’s security initiatives, you will onboard product teams to these tools and processes, providing training and ongoing assistance to ensure proficiency and adherence to the established guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in conducting vulnerability scanning and testing, ideally within a digital product environment, combined with proficiency in using a variety of vulnerability scanning tools and services.
- Strong skills in creating comprehensive documentation and developing clear, actionable guidelines tailored to technical processes and tools.
- Practical experience in training and providing ongoing support to technical teams, ensuring effective adoption of tools and methodologies.
- A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
It is advantageous if you have experience in hardware, software, and firmware security. Holding certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar is also beneficial.
