Assignment Description

We are seeking a Charging Software Developer with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions through comprehensive testing and development processes. This position involves contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of software for advanced systems within the automotive sector.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will revolve around the development and validation of robust software solutions. This includes designing and testing low-level software to ensure functionality and performance, as well as conducting unit tests and end-to-end functional testing to verify system reliability. A key aspect of the role involves addressing safety-critical components through functional safety analysis and maintaining thorough, well-structured documentation to ensure clarity and traceability. To achieve these goals, you will work with industry-standard development tools and frameworks, contributing to the creation of efficient and innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Expertise in working with low-level programming using Matlab/Simulink, C, and version control systems like Git.
• At least five years of professional experience within the automotive sector.
• A strong focus on ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing and validation
• Academic background with a degree in a related technical discipline.

Experience with advanced system testing tools and methods is highly regarded. Familiarity with simulation environments, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and functional safety analysis will further strengthen your profile. Knowledge of cutting-edge technologies in electromobility, such as energy storage systems, chargers, and electric drivetrains, is also considered an advantage. A valid driver’s license is beneficial for the role.
