Assignment description

There is now an opportunity to join our client’s team as a software engineer. Together with multiple other teams, they are building the new platform for rich media storytelling on their website and beyond, and it is in this journey they need to grow.

You will be a part of a team that will maintain and improve their global platform for creating and managing campaigns in close collaboration with the rest of the teams. They own the full life cycle of their product from ideas and post-it-notes all the way to running it in production. They do this as an empowered product team where they have great influence over the direction of their product. Coworkers from Product, Engineering, Design and Data/Analytics (and more!) all pitch in at all stages of the process to co-create something really great that will delight and engage their users.

The following three things are most important för this role: 

• Strong JS/TS/Node skillset
• Experience running JS/TS based applications in the cloud at scale
• Familiarity with DevOps model of development and QA within a single product team

Other requirements:

• Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc
• Software engineer with +5 years of experience building consumer-facing products to a global audience
• Collaborative mindset
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Strong JS/TS/Node skillset
• Experience running JS/TS based applications in the cloud at scale
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS/GCP/Azure etc.)
• Experience working closely with UX designers, data analysts and other disciplines
• Familiarity with DevOps model of development and QA within a single product team
• Strong focus on execution and delivery
• Experience with building solutions for rich media for the web (Video, live-streaming) is a bonus
• Experience with Contentful or similar CMS is a bonus
• Experience with content modelling is a bonus
• Experience working in an empowered product team setup is a bonus
• Experience building solutions for large-scale ecommerce is a bonus
