Assignment description

We are looking for a Senior Migration Lead.

I this role you will develop and establish the migration strategy, planning, and execution for a large-scale IT transformation, ensuring seamless data and application transitions. Lead and coordinate the execution of the multi-year migration strategy. You will analyze current systems, processes, and data environments to create detailed migration roadmaps, and ensure that all migrations align with business- and program- goals, minimizing disruptions and ensuring operational continuity. You will oversee post-migration validation and performance optimization to ensure successful outcomes, and provide expert guidance on best practices for system integration, cloud migration, and data governance.

You will manage cross-functional teams through each phase of the migration, addressing challenges and mitigating risks and collaborate closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendor to design a robust migration framework.

Qualifications:

• You have proven experience as a Migration Lead or Consultant in large-scale IT transformation programs.
• You have extensive experience in systems migration (applications, infrastructure, or cloud) and data migration projects.
• You have strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud) and enterprise IT landscapes.
• You have expertise in project management (with the ability to deliver within time, budget, and quality constraints).
• You have exceptional problem-solving and leadership skills with a focus on delivering high-impact results.
• You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• you have experience from banking / financing industry.

It is meritorious to have experience from Post trade system/Custody
