Assignment Description
We are seeking a CFD Engineer Propulsion to contribute to the development of a high-power, integrated, and optimized propulsion system. This role focuses on simulations and analyses at both component and system levels to assess lifetime, performance, and safety. It involves presenting results and contributing to key development decisions in a dynamic environment. We are seeking you with a creative and self-driven mindset, the ability to adapt to dynamic environments, and strong collaboration skills.
Key responsibilities include thermal and gas venting simulations, model development and validation, and supporting system engineering with data-driven analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in analyzing kinetic and thermal processes, including their interactions
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, technical physics, or a related field
- Familiarity with tools such as Simcenter STAR-CCM+ for CFD, ANSA for pre-processing, and Matlab, Simulink, and Simscape for system modeling and analysis
- Strong proficiency in CFD simulations
