Assignment Description
We are seeking for an experienced Backend Developer specializing in Adobe AEM. The role involves backend development within AEM solutions, collaborating with a team that focuses on AEM and Magento systems. Candidates should have expertise in AEM, DAM platforms, and experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) business models. While AEM Cloud experience is preferred, knowledge of on-premise solutions is also considered valuable. This position requires on-site presence for three days a week.
Primary responsibilities include analyzing content management requirements, developing custom AEM components, templates, and workflows, and configuring AEM environments. The position also involves integrating AEM with external platforms like Magento using APIs, optimizing backend performance, and ensuring best practices in coding standards. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with front-end developers, maintaining technical documentation, and troubleshooting test environments. Keeping up to date with the latest AEM advancements and industry trends is essential. Though this is not a managerial role, it demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in AEM, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Apache Felix, Apache Sling, and Jackrabbit.
- Familiarity with contemporary UI/UX principles.
- Proficiency in the eCommerce ecosystem.
- Academic background in Computer Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
Having an Adobe Experience Manager certification is considered a merit rather than a requirement. Additionally, strong communication skills, adaptability to different situations and audiences, and the ability to influence at various levels are valued. The capability to efficiently manage tasks and meet deadlines, both independently and within a team, is also beneficial.
