Assignment Description

We are looking for an antenna engineer to contribute to the development of advanced antenna solutions at mm-wave frequencies. In this role, you will be a key player in the process, from product specification and design to verification and final delivery, working within a development team managing multiple customer and research projects. The assignment requires on-site presence four days a week.

As an antenna designer, you will design and verify antennas while collaborating with the team. Depending on your experience, you may engage in customer interactions, support colleagues, contribute to RF design, troubleshoot, and ensure quality assurance. There will also be opportunities for research initiatives and academic collaborations. You will be expected to enhance the department’s technical expertise and innovation. This role involves working closely with various companies in the technology and automotive sectors. It involves analyzing specifications, defining antenna requirements, and designing robust solutions. You will verify samples, resolve technical issues, and act as a key liaison for suppliers and customers while driving technical excellence and mentoring junior members.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory, RF components, and antennas
• Hands-on experience in antenna and RF modeling, design, and validation
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Doctorate degree or at least five years of relevant experience in antenna design
• Proficiency in English and basic computer programming skills
• High level of motivation and technical leadership in development projects

It is considered a plus if you have experience with waveguide technology-based components and antennas, particularly those utilizing specific waveguide structures. Practical experience with mmWave antennas, components, and measurement equipment is also beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with radar and telecommunication applications will be advantageous in this role.
